Swim life in the 21st century
Olympic hopefuls and other competitive swimmers are living the good life at Fowler High School’s new pool. We completely removed the old one—with only six lanes, no electronic scoreboards, outdated equipment, and not enough space for spectators—and made everything ultra-modern and state-of-the-art. The new eight-lane pool has two lanes for warm-up and backstroke races, touch-pads in all lanes keyed to the new LED scoreboard, and an enlarged pool deck and spectator area. On the technical (but still super-important) side, the pool room is filled with all new equipment, like water chemistry controllers, CO2 feed systems, emergency eye wash stands, bigger pumps, and more. The new fences and gates are ADA-compliant, and because this is a public high school, the community gets to benefit from the new pool in the summer. Win-win-win.
